Our Story

Clothes by Joce was started in 2019, with a girl who saw all the beauty of the Australian landscape and had a vision of a way to share this with the world. The creation of this company was invested as part of the personal project which is undertaken by all year 10 students at IB schools. It was thought that throught the use of Jocelyn Proust fabrics, which mainly represent the flora and fauna of Australia, clothing would be able to be created that would share this beauty of a Australia. Through several months of planning and design, this company has built up to making custom orders as well as supplying smaller items such as scrunchies and bags for sale. The company is based in Darwin, providing sales all acorss the country.

How The Products Are Made

Using cotton material, the products are environmentally considerate, and are perfect for the hot weather here in Australia. The patterns used to create the product are from a range of brands, including New Look, Burda and Simplicity. The patterns are used to then cut the chosen fabric out and then both a sewing machine and overlocker are used to create the product. Once the product is finished, it is then sent via Australia Post to the customer, who is always excited upon the delivery of the package. Here at Clothes by JOce, we like to throw in a little extra with every order, providing two matching scrunchies for each item of clothing within the order.
